Virgílio has a studio in Porto (Portugal), where he began his photographic and pedagogical training in 1985 Courses in several photography schools in Porto, Paris and International School of Cinema Cuba.

Gives training courses in graduate and professional photography schools.

The most recent projects involve the hyper-realistic handling of chemical colour, namely in the symbolic expression of the socio-cultural with emphasis on contextual portraits.
