In the series that I have sent you, called ‘Graz Innenstadt’, I took pictures of the city center through the windows of the driving tram: Sackstraße, Hauptplatz with cityhall, Herrengasse. Originally I made this series to have a document for recollection, because the familiar city changes with time: Shops close, new ones open, houses are being rebuilt, the appearance of the street changes… The pictures are a form of documentation for me and at the same time they have a certain magic that I like.
